If you are working in office Laptop or PC and may by if collage PC, they usually put some restrictions and probably you wont have the access to the administration password. I some time develop websites and I have to test website with custom server IP.
I have found the solution but it will only work in chrome browser and on HTTP website that are without SSL/HTTPS. First you should download chrome. You can install portable chrome browser means you can install it without the admin rights.
After you will need to install chrome extension. There are many extensions and I found Host Switch Plus. Just install this extension through link that I share. Add server IP and domain.
Note: Enable this extension when you just testing the website. Disable this extension when not using it as these extensions may not be safe and can read history and passwords.
